Etiquette Classes for Middle School Students in Nashville and Williamson County
Etiquette classes for middle school students in Nashville and Williamson County are offered through our nationally recognized Junior Cotillion program for grades 6–9. This two-year program helps students develop confidence, respectful social skills, and formal etiquette in an age-appropriate, structured environment.
Registration and payment are both required before a student is placed on the waiting list. If only one item is received, the student’s place is not held until both are complete.
Junior Cotillion — Year I (Rising 6th Grade)
Year I is designed for rising 6th-grade students. The season consists of seven events, including:
Five once-a-month, 90-minute instructional classes
A Holiday Dance in December, where students practice their skills
A Formal Grand Ball, the culminating event of the season
Classes are filled on a first-come, first-served basis and are balanced evenly between girls and boys.

Junior Cotillion — Year II
The Year II program is for students who have successfully completed Year I. This year focuses on more advanced formal etiquette and social skills, including:
Table manners and food etiquette (Q&A format)
Polite conversation and introductions
Formal table settings
Telephone and electronic courtesies
Manners in the home and public places
Dress codes and first impressions
Job interview skills and workplace behavior
Ladies and gentlemen together
Advanced ballroom dance steps and combinations
(fox trot, cha-cha, and beach shag)
Year II students also enjoy a formal, seated five-course instructional dinner prior to the Grand Ball.

26-27 Reg. NO REFUNDS given after June 1st, 2026
You are committing to bring your child to a class each month for 5 months from Sept until February and to the Ball in late Feb. Spots are not held unless you have both paid and registered and spots fill up quickly. Staffing, supplies, and venue contracts are made by June 1st so there will be no refunds if you drop after that date. Thank you for your understanding.
